Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal & Northern New Jersey (BBBSCNNJ) launches a call to action for residents to step up during National Mentoring Month and become volunteer mentors for local youth.

National Mentoring Month (developed by MENTOR in 2002) is an annual celebration in January that recognizes and raises awareness for the power of mentoring.  BBBSCNNJ currently has more than 100 children and teens on the wait list for a mentor.  

“We believe in a future where all young people are empowered with a plan for their future and a mentor whose impact positively changes their life,” said William Salcedo, Executive Director of BBBSCNNJ. “Our youth are calling for the support of mentorship; we are asking for adult volunteers to stand up and answer the call.”

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
