Big Brothers Big Sisters of Coastal & Northern New Jersey is proud to share that our Executive Director, William Salcedo, has been appointed to Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill’s Interdisciplinary Advisory Task Force. The 433-member coalition brings together leaders from across New Jersey, representing labor, business, veterans, healthcare, education, the environment, and more, to provide real-world insight that will help shape the new administration’s priorities. 

As part of the Task Force, Mr. Salcedo will join statewide listening sessions and briefings designed to ensure that policy recommendations are informed from diverse perspectives and grounded in the needs of communities across New Jersey. 

“Being part of this Task Force provides an opportunity to share perspectives from organizations working directly with youth and families across New Jersey,” said Mr. Salcedo. “It’s important that diverse voices are included in these early discussions.”
