We’re excited to share some BIG news just in time for the holiday season, two of our incredible matches will once again be featured in the 99th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!

On Thursday, November 27, from 8:30 AM–12 PM ET, tune in to NBC or stream live on Peacock to see mentorship take center stage in one of the most iconic celebrations of the year. Big Brother Joe & Little Brother Damien and Big Sister Sara & Little Sister Maria will be marching alongside matches from across the BBBS network, proudly walking near the start of the parade with the beloved Tom Turkey Float.

This national spotlight is not just a moment of excitement for our matches, it’s a powerful reminder of the joy, connection, and confidence that mentoring brings to young people every day.

Big Sister Sara & Little Sister Maria
Sara and Maria are a match overflowing with laughter, trust, and pure joy. Whether they’re singing along to their favorite songs in the car, dancing around, or simply being their silly, authentic selves together, their bond captures the magic of what one-to-one mentorship can be.

Big Brother Joe & Little Brother Damien
Joe and Damien share a friendship built on support, creativity, and resilience. From working on theater productions to navigating life’s challenges side by side, their match is a source of confidence and encouragement for both of them, and it shines in everything they do.

Seeing our matches march through NYC is a celebration of every volunteer, family, supporter, and partner who makes this mentoring movement possible.
